Dr. Alekha Sachidananda Nayak is a media academic, communication theorist, and audiovisual practitioner currently serving as a senior assistant professor in the Department of Journalism and & Mass Communication at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), India.
With extensive experience in academia and the television industry, his work bridges communication theory, community communication, digital media production, political communication, and institutional audiovisual design.
He is known for developing original theoretical frameworks, including the Communication Sprinkler, Biswarupam Model, Diamond Model of Communication, and Community Communication Drought (CCD).

I am a media academic, communication theorist, and audiovisual practitioner exploring the intersections of communication, community, and digital society.

Currently serving as a Senior Assistant Professor at the Central University of Haryana, my work bridges media research, communication theory, audiovisual production, and community-centric communication models.

My academic journey combines research, teaching, documentary production, photography, and institutional media practice with a vision to create socially responsible and future-oriented communication ecosystems.

Anushka Singh

PhD Scholar under the guidance of Dr. Alekha Sachidananda Nayak in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication at Central University of Haryana. Her research interests include international communication, advertising, framing studies, and digital media analysis. She qualified UGC-NET with JRF in Mass Communication & Journalism and has presented research at the Asian Congress for Media and Communication 2024. Her published works focus on greenwashing campaigns, media framing, and conflict-related digital news coverage. She has professional experience in public relations and content writing through internships with ToppersNotes and Alizendria Branding Solutions. She is also a Silver Medalist in graduation and recipient of the Best Documentary Film Award at a State-level Film Festival for the documentary Saint Tradition of India.

Amit Singh

PhD Scholar under the guidance of Dr. Alekha Sachidananda Nayak in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication at Central University of Haryana. His doctoral research focuses on “Framing of Conflict Related News in Indian Newspapers: An Analysis from the Perspective of Peace Journalism.” His research interests include conflict reporting, peace journalism, media framing, and investigative journalism. He completed his M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication with First Class distinction and has practical media exposure through internship experience at Dainik Bhaskar Corporation Limited.

Narayana Choudhuri

PhD Scholar under the guidance of Dr. Alekha Sachidananda Nayak in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication at Central University of Haryana. His doctoral research focuses on “Rhetoric in Indian Political Communication: A Study on Short Videos of Indian Political Leaders’ Speeches.” His research interests include political communication, social media studies, digital journalism, visual communication, and media production. He has professional experience in television production, social media strategy, photography, and documentary filmmaking, with associations including University of Delhi and Central University of Rajasthan. He has directed documentary films and contributed extensively to media production, digital campaigns, and public communication projects.
